Happy St. Nicholas Day to you. We will celebrate St. Nicholas Day on 12/19. It's our family slava/Patron Saint Day. We have special shoes from Holland that the boys (and my husband!) put out and St. Nicholas always leaves pajamas for the kids to wear on Christmas Eve and of course the gold coins, plus some fruit and a book. Such a special tradition! Have a great day! I may order that book.
I love that photo!
Happy St. Nicholas Day!!
I need to get our church bookstore to carry that book...
Happy St. Nicholas day. I love the photo too.
I will have to look into getting that book since St. Nicholas is my son's patron saint.
Happy St. Nicholas to you as well. I took 3 year old to the services, and it was so magical for both of us.
This reminds me of the tradition in Germany. I lived there for a few years with my parents, and on Nikolaustag, we'd put our shoes into the hallway during class at school and when class was over, we'd find treats in our shoes.
Happy St. Nicholas day to you and the kids!!
