From Under My Rock...

I know it seems like I've been missing in action the past couple of weeks but I've actually been in Ohio visiting my family. I will return home at the end of the week. The boys have been having a great time running barefoot through the grass (can't do that in FL), catching lightning bugs and spending time with our family who they just adore.

Here's a peek at what we've been up to.

My threw my sister Geri her baby shower. She's 31 weeks pregnant and on complete bed rest. Please pray for a healthy baby and delivery! This baby is truly a gift from God.

We had fun getting her nursery together:

This is my favorite part. She will put a photograph of the baby on this stand underneath the scripture verse:

Going to baseball games:

The Scrappers Game

The Indians Game-I looove my Indians! We had so much fun! The game was at the new PNC Park in Pittsburgh. What a beautiful stadium. The only thing that was awful was the parking (and it wasn't even a big game) and the amount of time we had to wait in line for food. But the view was breathtaking!

My parents, brother and the boys in downtown Pittsburgh after the game:

Me and my baby brother. I just adore my siblings, they really are my best friends (along with DH of course). They are both so kind-hearted and loving and we would do anything for eachother.

Spending time with our cousins. Lucky and Christo should have been brothers! They do everything the same. We caught them feeding eachother sidewalk chalk right before this photo.

Going to graduation parties and catching up with family we don't see often:

And perhaps the most exciting part of the trip for Ace:

Losing his first tooth!

Today we'll be going to the local Fireman's parade and later on tonight we'll be going to dinner for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary!

It's been a great trip and we are so thankful to be blessed with such a large and loving family...

Oh my gosh...looks like you guys are having such a great time! I'm sure Geri LOVES that nursery! It's beautiful. Tell us more about that bible verse (is it a sticker or did you freehand paint it on)?

You're probably right, PNC must be the park with the best view. Lucky you were there at an Interleague game.

I know it has been a while since you posted this story of your sisters baby shower. Summer has been busy and I haven't been at your site as often as I usually am (daily... I love it!) but I loved the pics of your sisters nursery! I also have my daughters nursery (now big girl room) in the little lambs from pottery barn and we have a painting of the icon of the Good Shepard on the wall. Anyway, I have a little gift I would like to send her (or to you, to give to her) for the nursery since our themes are the same (there is something I have 2 of that I think she might like). If you could e-mail me off-line an address that I could mail it to, it would be great! Maria Sarantis (oldsmar, FL)
