*At the end of each Kathisma, recite the following:
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, both now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia. Glory to you, O God. (3 times) Our hope, O Lord, glory to You.
Don't forget to say a Lord have mercy for all the people on this list. If your baptismal name is not listed (many are screen names) please leave it in the comments and I'll edit the list.
Thank you all for participating and have a blessed Nativity fast!
*EDITOR'S NOTE (Nov. 18) Even though we began our readings on the 15th, I will continue adding people to the list as they come. So if anyone is interested simply leave your baptismal name and I will add you to the list.

Dear Sylvia, thank you for this opportunity! May we meet in prayer and have a blessed Nativity fast! Cristina
I'm very excited to be doing this with all of you this year. Over the years I have developed such a love and appreciation for each one of you and the friendship we share. It's such a blessing to gather in prayer for eachother during this holy fast. :) Thank you for joining.
BTW, it seems I forgot to add my baptismal name too, it's Sevasti. :)
Sylvia,
Which Mary am I on this list? #6 of #15. I'm assuming 6, but let me know just in case.
Thank you so much for organizing this.
Much love to you.
Mary,
You are #6, I edited your name to Mary Katherine. Is that ok?
Thank you so much for participating. Much love to you as well.
That's fine, Sylvia. Thanks.
Sylvia,
I've been reading your blog for months and enjoy it so much.
I would love to participate in reading the Psalter.
My baptismal name is Catherine (of Alexandria).
I would love to be included if you still need additional people to complete the list....
Thanks Sylvia for this wonderful opportunity! Just want to make sure, we start today at our assigned number/psalms and then read the subsequent number, moving down the list each day.
Have a blessed Nativity fast!
Natalie
Thanks so much for planning this! My baptismal name is Juliana.
Sylvia, what a wonderful idea, please may I take part ?
baptismal name is Anna mother of the Theotokos - thanks for organizing this :)
Elizabeth, Catherine (Janet) & Christine-- I have added your names.
If anyone is confused please let me know! The word layout was much easier to decipher but for some reason I couldn't copy it in the proper alignment.
Hope you all know your assigned starting point!!
A blessed Nativity fast to you all!
Natalie-
Yes, that is exactly how it works. :)
I'd love to participate, I'm sorry I'm so late in getting to you (my Baptismal name is Michelle)
Thank you so much for adding me to this list of wonderful women..I am very Blessed to be a part of it!
Thanks again and sorry for reading this so late. My baptismal name is Susanna.
My baptized name is Anna. Thanks for doing this!
Thank you, Sylvia for doing this. My baptismal name is also Mary (of Bethany).
Dear Sylvia,
I wasn't sure if you still needed one more person, but I would love to participate.
Kellie Tandilyan
I would love to be your extra person....
Melangell
Evlogeite Sylvia ! , I have not been to the Monastery in a while . Aleksandra told me about what you are doing this is wonderful . It gives me a chance to participate with your group . It appears you still need someone to read twice a day . I would be interested in calling out a prayer for all the women on this list during my morning prayers . I'm caring for a neighbor that fell and broke her arm in 3 places , then her 28 yr old daughter died suddenly leaving her to care for a 3 yr old . I don't know when she will call me for something . I would want to be true to the prayer group and I wouldn't be able to read both times of the day . Let me offer up prayers each day for all on the list through this Nativity Fast as a contribution for your beneficial endeavor . Much love to all as we approach the birth of our Savior , Maria (Edie) Dawson
Sylvia, I would love to join in. Is it too late? I was out of town until yesterday and just checked the blog today. Let me know if you still need an extra.

Greetings, Sylvia!
Evlogeite! I have recently started visiting your blog and am enjoying it greatly. You are an inspiration to Orthodox mothers and I pray you receive many blessings for your time and efforts. I don't know if it is too late, but I would like to join the prayer group. I think you started on the 15th so I may have missed the boat. If not, could you provide a little more guidance as this is quite new to me. My email is athenavaporis@hotmail.com. If it is too late, I will be sure to keep up with your postings through the year and catch the next set of "prayer sessions".
Thank you very much!
In Christ,
Athena (also my baptismal name)
Matriarch, we aren't each reading twice a day, but because there are twice as many of us as there are kathismi, the whole book of Psalms will end up being read twice in a day.
Thank you for your prayers!
oops--I just saw that the plural is kathismata....
Sylvia - So sorry I missed the beginning - I completely forgot until Gretchen Joanna reminded me on her blog... Bloglines is still not updating either of your blogs (hrumph). I'll begin this morning.
I'm so glad to be participating too and I'm also feel such a loving connecting to all the women I know via blogging.
I love the way that Our most blessed Lord brings us together in spirit and how our sweetest Theotokos watches over us . New to the group and anticipating the joy of getting to know all of you . I know Sylvia and Aleksandra from my visits to the Panagia Vlahernon and the Annunciation of the Theotokos Monasteries near Ocala , FL. When I'm away from the Monasteries I get home sick . There is such a spirit of love there and I know that it's the Spirit of our Lord . Love to all , Maria Dawson
p.s. I didn't choose the name Matriarch !
Gretchen--Thanks for clarifying that for Maria (Matriarch). :)
Maria and Deb,
I too feel very blessed to be sharing this prayerful experience with all of you as well! I love you all so much and it is so nice to know we're connecting in spirit each day.
Thank you all again for participating.
