Psalter Group {sign-ups}

Great Lent is right around the corner and you know what that means, right? It’s time to sign up for the Psalter Prayer Group again! This is one of my favorite things during the 40-day fasts.  It is a quiet time that I can look forward to each day.  And by quiet, I don’t mean the things around me are quiet, those things rarely are, but rather the hush that comes over my soul whenever I open my Psalter and read.

So if you’re interested in joining please leave YOUR BAPTISMAL NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS in the comment section of this post. If you’re not familiar with this group, click here for all the details…

I will have the groups and assigned readings up by Sunday night/Monday morning!  But don’t worry, if you stumble upon this post after Lent has begun, you can still sign up.  It’s never too late to join in!

  1. Based on doing this with you for several years, I introduced it to our ladies' Bible study group for the Nativity fast. We had 12 ladies sign up. They raved about it so much that as of right now I have 19! Thank you so much for teaching us about this!!!!

  2. Hi, Sylvia: I just recently found your blog and have found it very interesting. I have two little girls, ages 2 and 5, who my husband and I are raising in the Orthodox faith. I would like to join your psalter group. Milka

  3. I don't have the book, but I'll read from the Bible per your instructions (at the link posted in the comments by "Sarah in Indiana").Another Maria :)mariamorrell at gmail dot com
